back to << Le Meridien Resort Welcome to the Penguin Village! Our enthusiastic team looks forward to making your holiday the best you've ever had. There is no charge to use our facilities for kids over three years old and we are open 365 days a year. Penguin Meals are available for lunch from 12:30 until 13:30. If you do wish to have lunch with us, please let us know by 11:30. For details of our main activities and facilities please ask at Penguin Village reception or call us on extension 3147. If you wish to join us or use our creche please ask your Mum or Dad to read, complete and sign the accompanying Form. Then bring it with you when you register at the Penguin Village Reception Desk. All activities start from the entrance to the Penguin Village. If the weather is unsuitable, alternative activities are always arranged. Please do not forget to bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, hat etc., in a bag every time you come to the Village as they are all very necessary. Penguin Village is there for you to enjoy and Petros Penguin thinks it's the best place to be for great fun in the summer sun. Looking forward to seeing you soon. INFORMATION AGE OF CHILDREN From 3 - 12 years. All facilities are free of charge (except food, drinks and electronic games). (CRECHE) NEW BORN NOT YET 3 YEARS A fully supervised and enclosed play area indoors and outdoors. Cots and nappy changing facilities are available. Children can be left in the creche unaccompanied by parents. The charge is CY? 5,00 per hour, we request that you book this service in advance (Penguin Village extension 3147). Also please, be kindly informed that children may only be fed by their parents. OPENING HOURS OF THE PENGUIN VILLAGE 10:00 - 18:00 1st September - 15th November 10:00 - 16:00 16th November - 15th February 10:00 - 17:00 16th February - 15th March 10:00 - 18:00 16th March - 30th June 10:00 - 19:00 1st July - 31st August MEALS Breakfast - With parents in Le Fleuri. Lunch - Mickey's Restaurant 12:30 - 13:30 everyday at the Micky's Restaurant. Dinner - A children's menu is available for dinner in Le Fleuri & Micky's Restaurant. LANGUAGES Within the team the following languages are spoken: English, Greek, French, Russian, Arabic, German, Serbian , Spanish and Italian. ACTIVITY PROGRAMME A weekly programme is published. Team games, competitions, themed events and creative play are organised. PENGUIN CERTIFICATES OF ACHIEVEMENTS Tennis, swimming (seasonally) and basked-ball lessons are available. Children are awarded appropriate certificates and medals of achievement. AWARD CEREMONY & TALENT SHOW Organised once a week to present certificates and medals and to welcome new parents. MEDICAL CARE The hotel has a doctor on call 24 hours a day. INDIVIDUAL BABY-SITTING A minimum of 24 notice is requested. Reservations through the Reception.
